@ 84 The futility of following baseless traditions rather than the message and warning sent by Allah via His prophets 2:170
2:170 When it is said to them, 'Follow what Allah has sent down,' they reply, 'We will follow that which we found our fathers upon,' even though their fathers did not understand anything and they were not guided.
# وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا أَلْفَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَ لَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ 170
